Naples Jet Center seeks a Chief Pilot to oversee boutique Part 91 flight operations and assist in developing Part 135 charter operations in Naples, FL. The candidate should bring substantial flight ops experience and strong regulatory knowledge, with preference for Phenom 100/300 experience.

The role involves leadership of a small pilot team, ensuring safety standards, coordinating with maintenance and HR, and overseeing training, documentation, and reporting to optimize fleet operations.

Qualifications

• ATP certificate required.
• Minimum 3000 hours total time.
• 3+ years as 135 Captain or Chief Pilot.
• Phenom 100/300 type ratings preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for all flight operations.
• Ensure compliance with Part 91 & 135 regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
• Lead and manage a small team of pilots, fostering a culture of excellence, integrity & customer service.
• Perform flight duties on qualified aircraft.
• Develop and implement operational procedures to optimize efficiency, safety, and department growth.
• Coordinate with maintenance and scheduling for repairs, inspections, and maintenance.
• Organize pilot training and development, including initial and recurrent trainings.
• Act as liaison with insurance company and fleet policies.
• Verify compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations for all pilots.
• Support HR in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of pilots.
• Ensure aircraft documents and databases are up to date.
• Maintain accurate reporting and record keeping.
• Supervise flight planning and resource allocation.

Position Overview

Naples Jet Center seeks a highly skilled Chief Pilot to oversee our boutique Part 91 flight operations and assist in the development of Part 135 charter operations in Naples, FL. The ideal candidate will possess substantial flight operations experience, a strong understanding of Part 91 & Part 135 regulations, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Preference will be given to candidates with extensive experience in Phenom 100 & Phenom 300 models.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for all flight operations.
• Ensure compliance with Part 91 & 135 regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
• Lead & manage a small team of pilots, fostering a culture of excellence, integrity & customer service.
• Perform flight duties on qualified aircraft.
• Develop and implement operational procedures & strategies to optimize efficiency, safety, and department growth.
• Coordinate with maintenance department and communicate in a timely manner to the scheduling department for mechanical repairs, planned inspections, and maintenance on our fleet.
• Organize and oversee pilot training and development, including the scheduling of initial and recurrent trainings in accordance with fleet policies and safety standards.
• Act as liaison with insurance company & maintain comprehensive familiarity with fleet policies.
• Verify that all company and contract pilots are in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Support HR in the interviewing, recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of new pilots.
• Ensure aircraft documents, checklists, publications, and databases are current and up to date.
• Maintain accurate reporting & record keeping practices.
• Supervise flight planning, aircraft performance, and resource allocation for optimal operations.

Requirements

• Possess a valid Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
• Substantial experience as corporate pilot.
• In-depth knowledge of Part 91 and Part 135 regulations and their application.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a 135 Captain, or previous Chief Pilot role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic and customer-centric environment.
• Minimum 3000 hours total time
• Type ratings in Phenom 100 & Phenom 300 (preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in Aviation or related field (preferred)
• Resides or willing to relocate to within a 1-hour driving distance of Naples, FL
