Job summary

The VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region in Rutland, VT is seeking a full-time Director of Philanthropy to lead the Agency's comprehensive fundraising program, build donor relationships, and advance its mission with strategic planning, goal setting, and collaborative leadership across the organization.

You will oversee staff, manage budgets, coordinate with the CEO, CFO, and Board, and drive donor engagement, grants, events, and communications to sustain and grow philanthropic support for

Qualifications

• Experience in community relations and major donor solicitation.
• Track record of increasing revenue through cultivation and stewardship.
• Experience supporting senior leaders and volunteers.
• Must be willing to work on-site in Rutland, VT.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for the philanthropy program.
• Develop annual philanthropy plan aligned with mission.
• Set annual fundraising goals and manage the department budget.
• Maintain donor portfolios from identification to stewardship.
• Build relationships with donors, foundations, and community partners.
• Oversee grant program and reporting.
• Lead donor communications and events.
