Job summary

Loyola Medicine seeks a Chief Development Officer to provide strategic leadership for all development activities across Loyola Medicine and its Health Sciences Division. The role focuses on major and planned giving from individuals, corporations, and foundations to support education, research and patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in nonprofit management, philanthropic studies, journalism, communications, marketing, business or related field required.
• Six to ten years of experience in fundraising leadership, with major gift experience preferred; healthcare experience a plus.
• CFRE or equivalent certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for Loyola Medicine development and Health Sciences Division.
• Manage and mentor the development team and portfolio of major donors.
• Oversee donor stewardship, budgeting, and related fundraising operations.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to secure transformational gifts and advance priorities.
