Job summary

Atrius Health, part of the Optum family, seeks a Pharmacy Leader to direct site operations, staff and budget. You will ensure safe dispensing, patient counseling and regulatory compliance while collaborating with clinicians to optimize drug therapy across the practice.

You will mentor the pharmacy team, improve service metrics, and drive quality improvement projects in a high-volume, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited pharmacy program; PharmD or BS in Pharmacy.
• Massachusetts pharmacist license in good standing; BLS/CPR optional.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA and privacy policies; experience with PHI handling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site pharmacy operations, staffing, scheduling and compliance.
• Ensure safe dispensing, patient counseling and drug interaction checks.
• Develop and manage department budget, COGS and margins.
• Lead team initiatives to improve quality, metrics and patient care.
• Coach staff, deliver performance feedback and foster teamwork.
• Maintain regulatory compliance with state/federal rules and DEA.
• Collaborate with clinicians to optimize therapy and outcomes.
• Represent pharmacy in plan-wide initiatives and projects.
