Job summary

Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA) seeks a Chief Human Resources Officer to lead a data-driven, mission-focused HR function and to advance workforce strategies across the organization.

This executive will partner with senior leadership to ensure a high-performing, compliant workforce of over 1,000 employees and to execute a modern HR program aligned with MWRA’s mission to deliver reliable water and sewer services.

Qualifications

• Executive-level HR leadership aligned to organizational outcomes.
• Public-sector HR, labor relations, and regulatory compliance expertise.
• 10+ years’ experience; 5+ in supervision; 3+ in public sector; or equivalent.
• Valid Class D Driver's License.
• Flexible to respond to urgent needs; essential personnel designation.
