Job summary

7Seventy is seeking a Chief People Officer to lead enterprise-wide people strategy, HR operations, and organizational development for a distributed workforce in the United States. The role reports to the CEO and shapes the people function to enable strategic objectives.

The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on oversight of labor relations, payroll, total rewards, and compliance. Requires deep experience in executive leadership and 24/7 crisis-service environments.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of progressive HR/People Operations experience, incl. 5 years in executive leadership.
• Experience leading organizational design, workforce planning, and change management at scale.
• Proven track record in labor relations and managing collective bargaining agreements.
• Experience in remote or distributed workforces and managing multi‑site or international teams.
• Ability to use people analytics and metrics to drive organizational effectiveness.
• Strong ESG/DEIB focus and inclusive people practices across the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a comprehensive people and culture strategy aligned with multi‑year goals.
• Advise CEO and executive leadership on organizational design, leadership development, and workforce effectiveness.
• Lead transformation initiatives using data and metrics to improve organizational performance.
• Develop scalable HR frameworks and operating practices for distributed teams and high accountability.
