Qualificações

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Active New Jersey medical license.
• Completion of an accredited pediatric surgery training program.
• Board certification in Pediatric surgery.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic oversight and clinical leadership for the Pediatric Surgery division, ensuring the delivery of high‑quality, safe, and evidence‑based care.
• Supervise and mentor faculty within division.
• Develop and implement divisional goals, policies, and quality initiatives in alignment with hospital and departmental objectives.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to optimize resource allocation, staffing, and budgeting for the division.
• Lead program development, including expansion of surgical services, research initiatives, and interdisciplinary care programs.
• Promote academic growth, research, and innovation within the division.
• Oversee training programs for residents and fellows, ensuring high educational standards.
• Monitor clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction metrics, implementing quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, licensure, and accreditation standards.
• Serve as a liaison to hospital committees and external organizations regarding pediatric surgical care standards.

Formação académica
