Job summary

Johns Hopkins Children’s Center seeks a distinguished pediatric orthopedic surgeon to serve as Chief of Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery. The role leads a nationally recognized program in clinical care, education, research, and innovation within Johns Hopkins Medicine.

The Chief will provide strategic leadership for services, expand regional and national reach, and mentor faculty while advancing translational research and new programs across the Johns Hopkins network.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in orthopedic surgery.
• Fellowship training in pediatric orthopedics.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Maryland.
• Academic appointment at Associate Professor or Professor, commensurate with experience.
• Leadership and mentorship in program development.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for pediatric orthopedic services.
• Expand the program's regional and national reach.
• Recruit and mentor faculty; strengthen fellowship and resident education.
• Advance clinical and translational research and develop new programs.
• Collaborate across Johns Hopkins Medicine for multidisciplinary care.
