Redefining NIL. Empowering Athletes. Building the Future of College Sports.

SecondWind is a next-gen, athlete-first sports agency rewriting the rules in the era of NIL, the transfer portal, and House v. NCAA. We’re helping athletes go from overlooked to overpaid—and helping schools adapt to a professionalized, pay-to-play world.

We’ve recently launched a D1 intern program, built out a beta tech product for roster/NIL management, and we’re consulting with universities navigating compensation models that go live July 1, 2025.

Now, we’re searching for a founding Chief Partnerships Officer to join us at the most pivotal moment in college sports history.

Your Mission:

You’ll own revenue strategy and relationship-building across:

Brand partners (NIL deals, campaigns, athlete sponsorships)

Athletic departments & collectives (consulting, roster planning)

Platform partnerships (NIL data, recruiting tech, media orgs)

This role is about vision + velocity—crafting win-win deals that grow our bottom line, build our brand, and deepen our athlete impact.

  • Strong network in brands, schools, or athlete circles
  • Proven closer—deals, campaigns, or partnerships
  • Comfortable in chaos, energized by early-stage
  • Fluent in startup life: equity, sweat, vision, and grit
