Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Chief Operations Officer - Industrial Solutions to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space.

This executive will lead global operations across manufacturing and supply chain, with a strong mandate to drive safe, efficient, and cost-effective performance. The role will shape the operational strategy for a diverse portfolio of advanced materials serving multiple end markets. It will also partner closely with the executive team and Board to scale production, strengthen operational discipline, and support long-term growth.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $210,000 – $250,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead global operations across manufacturing and supply chain to ensure safe and cost-effective delivery
• Implement Lean and operational excellence strategies to improve efficiency and profitability
• Build and mentor a high-performing global team with a focus on safety and accountability
• Develop and execute the Annual Operating Plan, reporting performance to executives and the Board
• Establish a multi-year operations strategy, optimizing the global footprint and asset utilization

Qualifications

• 15+ years of leadership experience in industrial manufacturing or related sectors
• Prior executive experience as COO, VP of Operations, or in a similar role in multi-site or global environments
• Proven ability to scale new materials or technologies into high-volume production
• Expertise in Lean, operational excellence, and quality systems
• Experience with diversified end markets such as energy storage and automotive
• Strong focus on EHS leadership and sustainability initiatives
• Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and talent development skills
