Job summary

Consolidated Cooperative seeks a COO to lead electric, fiber, propane, and natural gas operations, reporting to the President/CEO. This executive will guide strategy, operations, and talent development, fostering safety, accountability, and continuous improvement in a dynamic utility/telecom environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (Engineering preferred), 10+ years in related fields (MBA optional), and 7+ years of supervisory experience across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Engineering background preferred.
• Ten years of related field experience required, or five years with an MBA.
• At least seven years of supervisory/management experience leading complex operations.
• Proven ability to lead effectively in fast-paced environments with clear direction.
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Shape organizational strategy with the President/CEO and Senior Leadership Team to drive growth and execution of long-term vision.
• Oversee development and execution of electric, fiber, propane, and natural gas work plans.
• Provide executive leadership for Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain Management.
• Lead organizational process improvement efforts with the CTO for operational effectiveness and alignment.
• Develop, mentor, and support leaders and teams through talent management and succession planning.
• Contribute to annual budgeting, resource planning, and investment decisions.
