Job Summary

As COO, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational functions of the agency and ensuring scalable processes that deliver consistent results for clients and stakeholders. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of marketing operations, client servicing, cross-functional team leadership, and agency profitability.


Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Design and implement business operations, processes, and policies that drive efficiency and scale.
  • Monitor key metrics across departments (strategy, accounts, lead generation) and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Oversee client onboarding, delivery pipelines, and project execution.

Team Management

  • Lead and mentor department heads (e.g., Account Managers, Operations, SEO).
  • Foster a high-performance, accountable culture with clear KPIs and career growth paths.
  • Identify skill gaps and hire talent to meet organizational goals.

Client & Revenue Growth

  • Ensure seamless execution of campaigns and services that lead to client satisfaction and retention.
  • Support the sales team with operational planning for new business pitches and proposals.
  • Work with finance to manage budgets, forecasting, and P&L accountability.

Strategic Planning

  • Translate vision into executable operating plans with measurable outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities for agency service innovation and expansion.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in senior operational roles, preferably within marketing, digital, or creative agencies.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, performance metrics, client lifecycle management, and agency finance.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tech-savvy with familiarity in tools like HubSpot, ClickUp, Slack, Google Workspace, and analytics platforms.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in scaling a marketing agency or startup.
  • Background in performance marketing or B2B marketing.
