The Opportunity

TCS is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to serve as the strategic right hand to the CEO—driving operational excellence, financial performance, and cross‑functional alignment across a growing organization.

The COO will translate vision into execution by building systems, structure, and accountability that enable scalable growth. This leader will oversee operations, finance, and people management while identifying opportunities to expand into new markets, including commercial and government sectors.

This is a role for a disciplined operator who thrives in fast‑paced, mission‑driven environments, loves turning ideas into systems, and takes pride in creating clarity from complexity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Growth: Drive strategic expansion into new markets, build partnerships, and oversee revenue operations.
  • Operational Excellence: Lead quarterly and annual planning, design scalable systems and SOPs, and manage company‑wide execution.
  • Financial Leadership: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and profitability; implement data‑driven decision frameworks and margin optimization strategies.
  • People & Culture: Coach department heads, monitor performance and morale, manage change initiatives, and ensure alignment across teams.
  • Strategic Partnership: Serve as the CEO’s right hand—align priorities, streamline decision‑making, and ensure the organization’s goals are met efficiently.
Knowledge & Skills
  • EOS / Integrator experience (REQUIRED)
  • Financial analysis, budgeting, and KPI tracking (REQUIRED)Business planning and operational design (REQUIRED)
  • Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, Asana or similar (REQUIRED)
  • ChatGPT or AI automation tools (INTERMEDIATE)
  • Government contracting or ASL/Deaf culture familiarity (PREFERRED)
Logistics & Compensation
  • Location: remote
  • Compensation: $175,000 base + performance bonus
  • Benefits: Comprehensive package including leadership training and development programs
  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST (flexibility required)
  • Start Date: January 1, 2026
  • Travel: Quarterly meetings with CEO in Frederick, MD
  • Authorization: Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Security: Willingness to participate in government clearance process
