About the Company

Our client is a technology solutions provider headquartered in the Southeast US with several regional offices nationwide. The firm serves enterprise clients across regulated and high-growth industries, with a growing footprint in AI and data center infrastructure. Employee retention is exceptionally high compared to industry averages, a reflection of a culture built around ownership and accountability rather than hierarchy.

This is an in-person, high-accountability organization. People show up, they own their piece of the business, and passing responsibility off to someone else isn't part of how the place runs.

The Role

Our client is hiring a Chief Operating Officer to run the operational side of the business. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants real accountability for performance, not a seat at the table for its own sake.

The COO will work closely with senior leadership and share in the operating rhythm of the business: EBITDA performance and management-by-objectives goals drive how success gets measured here.

What You'll Own

• Operational performance across the business, with direct accountability for EBITDA targets and MBO-based goals
• Day-to-day execution across the company's regional footprint, partnering with leadership on strategy and rollout
• Reinforcing a culture with retention well above industry norms
• Regular travel across multiple company locations, with the majority of time based at headquarters

What We're Looking For

• A proven operating executive with a track record of owning EBITDA and hitting performance targets, not just reporting on them
• Someone comfortable in a direct, no-nonsense environment
• A leader who can build and sustain an ownership-driven, in-person culture
• Willingness to be based primarily at headquarters, with regular travel to other company sites. Some flexibility on home base may exist for the right candidate

Compensation

Base salary in the $350K to $400K range, plus a performance bonus tied to company and individual results. Relocation support is available for the right candidate.
