Job summary

Harboroaks is seeking a facilities administrator to provide daily operational oversight and strategic direction for patient services. The role emphasizes cost-effective quality of care, staff development, and adherence to regulatory standards.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred), 5+ years in behavioral health, and licensure options such as LPCC, LMFT, or LWSW. In CEO’s absence, you will lead the facility and collaborate on strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Two+ years’ experience in related field required.
• Five+ years’ hands-on experience in behavioral health required.
• Independent clinical licensure (LPCC, LMFT, LWSW) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the facility to ensure quality and cost-effective services.
• Lead departments to maximize efficiency and service quality.
• Participate in strategic planning and regulatory preparedness.
• In CEO’s absence, operate the facility.
• Support development and implementation of effective strategies and processes with the CEO.
• Staff management including hiring, development, training, and performance management.
• Assist with budgets and ensure departments operate within funding.
• Evaluate processes by analyzing business objectives and patient needs.
• Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.

Overview

PURPOSE STATEMENT:

Provide management oversight and direction for the day-to-day operational activities of the facility.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Manage one or more departments efficiently and effectively to maximize cost effective quality of services.
• Manage and implement programs to ensure all employees are committed to quality and service.
• Actively participate in strategic planning and corresponding development activities including regulatory preparedness and quality improvement.
• In CEO’s absence, operate the facility within that capacity.
• Assists the CEO in collaborative efforts related to the development, communication and implementation of effective strategies and processes.
• Provide staff management to including hiring, development, training, performance management and communication to ensure effective and efficient department operation.
• Assist with budgets and spending to ensure departments operate within funding limits.
• Evaluate operational processes by analyzing business objectives and patient needs.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

• Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
