Job description

After 30 years of turning biochemistry into supplements that pets and their people trust, our founder is handing you the keys to the day-to-day. Run the business as her Integrator, so she can get back to inventing what comes next.

InClover Research

Based in Boulder, Colorado, InClover Research is a woman-owned company that has been making science-based supplements formulated for the unique physiology of dogs and cats since 1996. Our mission is to elevate the health and happiness of pets and the people who love them. Sold throughout North America and Asia, InClover is growing rapidly and has won a Top Impact Award in Sustainability.

What You Will Do

You will lead the business and our next stage of growth: the team, revenue, the numbers and operations. We run on EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System), a straightforward framework for setting priorities, tracking results and keeping the team accountable to the plan. You will own the P&L, bring urgency and focus to a small, collaborative team, and scale a healthy, resilient business on the systems, mission and co-manufacturing partnerships that already work.

Responsibilities:
  • Run the EOS rhythm: the weekly L10 meeting, the Scorecard, quarterly Rocks and the Accountability Chart.
  • Lead and develop five direct reports across procurement and operations, marketing, sales and office management (Boulder and remote), building a faster, more accountable team.
  • Support sales and marketing leaders in building a predictable sales pipeline across independent and multi-unit pet retail, distributors, and ecommerce, helping to shape pricing, trade spend and channel strategy with the CEO.
  • Own the P&L, annual budget and cash flow, and lead financial reporting with our fractional controller.
  • Strengthen financial records, processes and contracts to institutional standards, so the business runs without depending on the founder day to day.
  • Working closely with Operations leadership, ensure manufacturing partners maintain quality and efficient processes as volume grows.
Who You Are

You are a curious and strategic CPG builder who is energized by rolling up your sleeves at a small company doing great things. You enjoy partnering with a founder: you can translate big ideas into clear plans, and you bring speed and follow-through without losing warmth. You lead by both driving and coaching, make decisions with logic and data, and care about keeping a kind, inclusive, mission-driven culture intact as the business grows. Our core values (Win/Win, Humbly Confident, Purpose, Resilient and Authentic) sound like you.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of CPG experience, ideally including leadership at an emerging or growth-stage brand
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to drive cross-functional decision-making
  • A builder's track record: you have created systems, teams and growth, not only managed an established operation
  • Systems thinker who can drive financial efficiencies and build stronger NOI
  • Experience partnering with a founder or Visionary
  • Willingness to work from our Boulder office
Preferred:
  • Operations or finance leadership experience
  • EOS experience, especially as an Integrator
  • Multi-channel CPG exposure across specialty retail, distributors, Amazon and DTC
Benefits
  • Base salary of $150k to $175k
  • Annual bonus of up to 20% of base, tied to company performance targets
  • Equity-style award that lets you share in the value you help build; details shared with finalists
  • Health insurance and generous PTO
  • Pet-friendly office on a 22-acre Boulder campus; relocation assistance is not provided
  • A mission-driven, collaborative culture with real sustainability and community programs

We are committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace and encourage all qualified applicants to apply, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status. While our job descriptions outline ideal qualifications, we recognize potential comes in many forms. If you believe in our work and have the foundational skills and experience that would contribute to our company culture and mission, we encourage you to apply.
