Job summary

Bridgepoint-Associates, on behalf of a highly regarded nonprofit in the Washington, DC area, is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to lead global mission delivery and oversee a $75M operating budget.

Reporting to the CEO, the COO will drive strategy, operational excellence, and impact across dispersed teams and volunteers, with a strong data-driven approach.

The role requires 15+ years of experience, nonprofit exposure, and willingness to travel internationally.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience with 7+ years in executive leadership.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience leading large, geographically dispersed teams.
• Proven track record managing large budgets and resources; data-driven strategy.
• Understanding of military culture and related dynamics.
• Nonprofit experience is a plus.
• Ability to travel internationally and domestically.

Terrific Chief Operating Officer ("COO") position with a highly regarded nonprofit based in Virginia. Reporting to the CEO, the COO will lead global mission delivery across a diverse team and oversee a $75M operating budget. This role will have responsibility for continuous improvement, innovation, and the quality and impact of the organization's programs and services.
