LVI Associates seeks a Vice President of Utility Operations for Bedford, MA region to lead utility construction programs and drive growth across transmission, distribution, and substation projects.

The role requires 15+ years in the field, deep industry knowledge, and proven leadership of multi-disciplinary teams. A bachelor’s degree and a track record of client development are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience within utility construction, power delivery, transmission, distribution, or substation markets.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasts, and business-unit performance.
• Proven ability to develop client relationships and generate new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead all utility operations, including transmission, distribution, substation, and related infrastructure projects.
• Drive business growth through strategic planning, client development, and market expansion initiatives.
• Oversee financial performance, including P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability.
• Build and maintain relationships with utilities, municipalities, engineering firms, and key stakeholders.
• Ensure successful execution of projects through effective leadership of operations, project management, and field teams.
• Collaborate with estimating and business development teams to secure new opportunities and expand existing accounts.
• Develop and mentor Project Executives, Project Managers, Construction Managers, and operational leaders.
• Promote a culture focused on safety, quality, accountability, and operational excellence.
• Manage workforce planning, resource allocation, and long-term organizational growth.
• Support contract negotiations, risk management, and strategic decision-making.
