Job summary

Penn State Health is seeking a highly qualified Radiologist with subspecialty training in abdominal imaging to serve as Chief of Ultrasound at Hershey Medical Center. Responsibilities include optimizing ultrasound protocols, standardizing practices across the system, and leading ultrasound education for residents, fellows, and learners.

The ideal candidate will interpret US, CT, and MRI, with asset knowledge in fluoroscopy and virtual colonoscopy.

Qualifications

• MD or DO or equivalent required.
• Licensed to practice medicine in Pennsylvania.
• Board certification/eligibility in Radiology preferred.
• Fellowship training in abdominal/body imaging highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Interpret diagnostic ultrasound, CT, and MRI.
• Optimize diagnostic ultrasound protocols and standardize across the health system.
• Educate radiology residents, fellows, and learners.
• Collaborate with Penn State Health to implement DRIVE/AI initiatives.
• Provide leadership as Chief of Ultrasound with administrative time.
