Job summary

Penn State Health - Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA seeks an energetic, subspecialty trained Abdominal Imaging Physician to serve as Chief of Ultrasound. Primary duties include optimizing diagnostic ultrasound protocols, standardizing protocols across the health system, and leading ultrasound education for radiology residents, fellows, and learners.

Interpreting US/CT/MRI is central to the role. The successful candidate will join 52 academic faculty, 8 APPs, and 28 community radiologists

Qualifications

• Licensed for the practice of medicine in the State of Pennsylvania.
• Board certification/eligibility in Radiology.
• Fellowship training in abdominal/body imaging.
• Completion of an accredited residency program.

Responsibilities

• Interpret diagnostic US, CT, and MRI as Chief of Ultrasound.
• Optimize ultrasound protocols and standardize across the health system.
• Lead ultrasound education for radiology residents, fellows, and learners.
• Administrative duties as Chief of Ultrasound; collaborate with DRIVE and AI Lab.
