Job summary

Quick USA Inc. is seeking a Chief of Technical Services in Columbus, IN. This senior leader will direct Process Repair, Advanced Manufacturing and Facilities, shaping strategic direction for technical systems and equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations.

Leads a technical team, collaborates with Production, Quality, Engineering and HR to drive reliability, implement new technology, and support current and future business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing maintenance (machinery equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, etc.) or Field Service Engineer (FSE) experience.
• Project management skills & experience overseeing complex maintenance projects.

Chief of Technical Services

Summary

The Chief of Technical Services is a senior leadership position at a leading Tier-1 Japanese automotive components manufacturer supplying major global OEMs. This role is responsible for providing strategic and technical direction for Process Repair, Advanced Manufacturing, and Facilities. This position oversees the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of technical systems, equipment, processes, and infrastructure necessary to support safe, reliable, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing operations.

The Chief of Technical Services provides leadership to technical personnel and works collaboratively with Production, Quality, Engineering, Human Resources, and other departments to identify opportunities, resolve complex technical issues, improve equipment reliability, support new technology and manufacturing capabilities, and ensure the facility and its systems support current and future business needs.

Essential Duties

• Safety: Provide leadership and direction to ensure equipment, facilities, and technical processes are maintained in safe operating conditions. Ensure compliance with safety requirements and promote a strong safety culture.
• Quality: Partner with Quality and Operations to resolve technical issues affecting product quality, process capability, scrap, and productivity. Participate in audits and ensure corrective actions.
• Leadership & Team Development: Oversee Process Repair/Maintenance, Advanced Manufacturing, and Facilities functions. Develop and maintain a highly skilled technical team through training, coaching, and mentoring.
• Productivity Improvement: Develop and implement predictive and preventive maintenance (PM) programs to minimize downtime and transition from reactive to proactive service models. Oversee Root Cause Analysis for unscheduled outages.
• Budget & Resource Management: Develop and manage Technical Services budgets in alignment with company objectives, evaluating equipment, facility, technology, and capital needs.
• Other tasks assigned by management.

9:00am~5:30pm (lunch 1 hour)
