Job summary

Complete Play Discovery is building a landmark nonprofit project in New York City, focused on a children’s science museum and family discovery center for all abilities. We seek a highly organized, proactive professional to lead project management, partnerships, and fundraising from ground up.

This role is not a traditional EA; it concentrates on development, donor relations, and strategic growth to help the organization expand its impact for families and kids across the city.

Qualifications

• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
• Strong project management and follow-up abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, project management, construction, architecture, design, real estate development, or business operations is a plus.

Complete Play Discovery (Nonprofit) Complete Play Discovery is creating one of New York City’s most exciting nonprofit projects—an inclusive children’s science museum and family discovery center designed for children of all abilities.

We are looking for a highly organized, proactive professional to help build this project from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate architects, designers, engineers, contractors, and consultants during the development of our new flagship location.
• Manage projects, timelines, meetings, and follow-up to ensure initiatives move forward.

• Work directly with the Founder/CEO on the organization’s growth and expansion.

This is NOT a traditional Executive Assistant position.

This role is focused on project management, partnerships, fundraising, and helping build a landmark nonprofit—not managing calendars, travel arrangements, or personal administrative tasks.
