Job summary

Twenty-Six Defense, headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, seeks a Chief of Staff, Office of the CTO, to partner with the CTO, coordinate across engineering, program management, finance and operations, and prepare executive-level materials to accelerate decision making.

The role emphasizes strategic execution, cross-functional leadership, budgeting, and a disciplined operating rhythm; deep technical fluency is valued but not required as long as you can translate complex tech into clear business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, program management, finance, or a related field.
• Graduate degree in engineering, business administration, program management, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience supporting or working directly with senior executives and cross-functional leadership teams.
• Strong understanding of business operations, financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and organizational performance.
• Working knowledge of engineering and technical development environments to understand technical discussions for executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted strategic and operational advisor to the CTO, prioritizing issues and commitments.
• Prepare the CTO for executive and technical meetings with briefing materials and presentations.
• Synthesize complex technical and business information into concise executive recommendations.
• Coordinate preparation for major technical and business reviews with cross-functional teams.
• Manage the operating rhythm of the Office of the CTO, including meetings and strategic planning activities.
• Assist with CTO budgets, forecasts, and capital investments.
• Develop executive-level presentations and communications for senior leadership and customers.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives to closure and document decisions and actions.
