Job summary

Verse Medical is hiring a highly analytical Chief of Staff to work directly with the CEO and Head of the Office of the CEO to drive high-impact initiatives and ensure operational excellence. You will own dashboards, prepare leadership materials, and help steer company strategy across functions from our New York City office.

The role requires 4+ years in tech/consulting/ops, a Bachelor’s degree, and a strong work ethic. Compensation ranges are meaningful, with substantial equity and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and deep engagement with CEO and executive team.
• Highly skilled in data analysis and synthesis of complex information.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a process-driven mindset.
• Ability to identify issues and propose solutions independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to represent the CEO.

Responsibilities

• Summarize and prepare materials for leadership meetings with founder input.
• Identify where the CEO should focus based on analytics and summaries.
• Track progress on major projects and resolve blockers.
• Maintain escalation systems for brewing issues to leadership.
• Conduct fact-finding investigations and prepare reports and recommendations.
• Dive into analytics to uncover insights and suggest improvements.
• Gatekeeper for the CEO to prioritize critical work.
• Represent the CEO in meetings and ensure directives are executed.
• Drive operational improvements and scalable processes.
• Follow up on deadlines with internal teams to ensure accountability.
• Act as Office of the CEO audit function for organizational health and execution.
• Run operational aspects of the CEO role end-to-end as needed.
