Job summary

TetraScience is seeking a Chief of Staff to the CEO to operate at the center of relationships with global customers, partners, and public-sector leaders. You will amplify the CEO’s reach, drive follow-through on strategic initiatives, and synthesize science, business, and policy narratives for executive decisions.

The role requires a high clock speed, travel as needed, and a disciplined operating rhythm to move alliances, programs, and contracts from idea to impact.

Qualifications

• Advanced training in a life sciences discipline (MS or PhD).
• Meaningful exposure to business, strategy, or policy (e.g., consulting, banking, corporate development, VC, or senior operating roles).
• Comfortable engaging credibly with R&D leaders, business executives, and public-sector stakeholders on topics spanning science, economics, and regulation.

Responsibilities

• Amplify the CEO in the market by coordinating Patrick’s engagements with biopharma executives, technology partners, and government agencies; prepare briefing materials and post-meeting summaries.
• Own follow-through on critical relationships by turning notes into action plans, tracking progress, and surfacing risks and opportunities.
• Connect science, business, and policy narratives by crafting compelling narratives for senior audiences and synthesizing input into options for decision-making.
• Support a disciplined operating rhythm around the CEO by maintaining a simple cadence and protecting Patrick’s schedule.
