9 Mothers Corporation in Austin, TX is seeking a Chief of Staff to serve as the right hand to the CEO and ensure executive focus, operational discipline, and cross-functional alignment as the company scales.

This is a high-level operational leadership position, not an administrative role. You will offload complex tasks, translate executive intent into execution, and manage critical partnerships while maintaining a big-picture perspective across the organization.

Qualifications

• 4–8+ years of experience in business operations, Chief of Staff roles, management consulting, venture-backed startups, or high-velocity tech/defense environments.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with proven ability to navigate high-stakes partner/client meetings and smooth over friction.
• Ability to hold a company-wide view and translate executive priorities to engineering/operations.
• Proven track record of handling ambiguous situations and delivering resolution independently.
• World-class written and verbal communication; able to interface with executives and partners.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, prioritize, and manage CEO communications with external stakeholders.
• Take ownership of complex operational tasks from the CEO.
• Maintain macro company view and contextualize leadership priorities for teams.
• Sit in on key meetings with external partners and clients to manage relationships.
• Translate high-level directives into actionable work streams with minimal founder involvement.
• Structure and drive executive meeting agendas, actions, and follow-ups.
