9 Mothers Corporation in Austin, TX is seeking a Chief of Staff to serve as the right hand to our CEO, ensuring executive focus, operational discipline, and cross-functional alignment as we scale rapidly.

This is not an administrative role; it is a high-level operational leadership position for an assertive, strategic operator who can step in, offload executive burdens, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

Qualifications

• 4–8+ years in business operations, Chief of Staff roles, management consulting, or venture-backed tech/defense startups.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for high-stakes meetings.
• Ability to maintain a company-wide perspective and align priorities across teams.
• Proven track record of turning ambiguous tasks into resolved actions.
• Strong written and verbal communication representing leadership externally.

Responsabilités

• Monitor, prioritize, and manage CEO communications and external outreach.
• Own complex operational tasks directly from the CEO.
• Maintain macro view of company goals to contextualize priorities for engineering and operations.
• Manage relationships with external partners and clients, de-escalating tensions.
• Translate high-level directives into actionable work streams with minimal founder oversight.
• Structure and drive executive meeting agendas, actions, and follow-ups.
