Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Chief of Staff to the Head of Engagement Management to accelerate high-priority initiatives across sales, partnerships, marketing and hiring. This is a high-ownership role that moves from strategy to execution to influence Mercor's GTM momentum.

You will identify organizational gaps, lead cross-functional programs, and recruit for key roles, shaping the strategic direction of Mercor's rapidly expanding GTM efforts in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in a Chief of Staff/Exec Ops role supporting a rapidly scaling business.
• Exceptional strategic thinking and execution.
• Strong commercial instincts and interest in AI.
• Ability to operate across sales, partnerships, marketing, and recruiting.
• High ownership, low ego, and comfort operating in ambiguity.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic initiatives to grow Mercor's business across frontier labs, AI companies, and enterprises.
• Partnerships: Activate partnerships with RL-as-a-service companies and partners to turn relationships into joint GTM and revenue opportunities.
• Cross-Functional Incubation: Build 0→1 initiatives across product marketing, events marketing, and customer marketing, establishing the playbook before scaling dedicated teams.
• Strategic Hiring: Identify organizational gaps and lead recruiting for high-priority roles across the Engagement Management organization.
• Special Projects: Own the highest-leverage problems facing the organization, from strategy through execution.
