Job summary

VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center in Richmond, VA, seeks a Senior Director of Executive Operations to serve as Chief of Staff to the Cancer Center Director and lead a team focused on strategic initiatives, operational excellence, and organizational performance. The role requires collaboration across departments within VCU and VCU Health System to drive Massey’s objectives.

The successful candidate will have extensive executive administration experience, strong budgeting and analytics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; experience in healthcare or academia preferred.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional project management skills.
• Experience supporting executive leaders and handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Chief of Staff to the Cancer Center Director and senior leadership.
• Lead the Executive Operations team and oversee administrative functions, budgeting, and policy development.
• Develop dashboards and performance metrics to support executive decision-making.
• Coordinate strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with Massey’s goals.
