Responsibilities

• Collaborates with community agencies (law enforcement, courts, health care, etc.) for safety and security of the school site.
• Communicates safety policies and enforcement procedures to students, staff and visitors.
• Coordinates responses to accidents, injuries, vandalism, alarms, and other security concerns.
• Develops and implements preventive security strategies and programs utilizing technology.
• Manages budget, schedules, and training for district police personnel; ensures security coverage.
• Presents information in various settings to inform campus communities about security guidelines and rights.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Police Administration, Law Enforcement, or related field preferred
