The Rocky Mountain Regional Medical Center, Eastern Colorado Health Care System in Aurora, Colorado is seeking a full-time Board-Certified Radiologist to be our Chief of Radiology.
Contribute to the achievement of quality care standards, as well as the growth and development of a VA academic hospital program.
Must be an excellent leader, communicator, and team player who is adaptable to the needs of a large, well-established medical center.
Supervise a variety of radiology health care professionals and allied staff including, but not limited to, physicians, technologists, nurses, and administrative staff.
Contribute to the planning, developing, and directing the general radiology, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, Mammography, Interventional radiology, and nuclear medicine operations of the Imaging Service (Fiscal, budgeting, operational, compliance, etc.).
Serve in the clinical role of a diagnostic radiologist, interpreting the different types of radiology studies performed by the Radiology Service (MRI, CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, general radiology, and fluoroscopy. May provide services in other clinical areas as trained/privileged such as breast imaging or interventional radiology).
Support academic affiliations in technologists, radiologic assistants, medical students, residents, and other teaching programs that involve the Imaging Service. Provide clinical experience, cognitive development, and other aspects of effective teaching.
