Smart Data Solutions is seeking a VP of Digital Mailroom Operations to lead automation, modernization, and performance of the inbound document and data capture function in Eagan, MN. You will own the end-to-end operating model from intake to delivery, ensuring a 24-hour turnaround and driving a multi-year automation roadmap.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in business, operations, engineering, information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of progressive leadership in document processing, digital mailroom, data capture, or BPO operations.
• 3+ years of offshore/nearshore vendor management experience.
• Proven automation initiatives reducing manual data entry while preserving quality.
• Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and outcomes.
• Experience owning SLA-driven operations with tight turnaround times.

Mansioni

• Own daily operations across physical mail receipt, scanning, ingestion, classification, data extraction, quality control, and distribution.
• Maintain 24-hour turnaround SLA and drive improvements.
• Develop capacity, staffing, and business-continuity plans for peaks and growth.
• Create executive dashboards on volume, turnaround, backlog, and cost per document.
• Lead automation initiatives and evaluate OCR/AI tools with IT and engineering.
• Manage offshore/nearshore vendors, contracts, SLAs, and governance.
• Lead vendor transitions and periodic RFPs for cost and quality optimization.
• Serve as executive escalation point for vendor performance concerns.
