County of Santa Clara is seeking a senior leader to oversee a diverse team of project managers, construction managers, inspectors, and consultant program managers for County building projects. You will guide complex facilities initiatives from planning through construction, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and cost efficiency.
The role demands strategic oversight of scope, budgets, and schedules, plus collaboration across County departments and external consultants.
Under general direction of the Manager, Capital Program Division, supervises a team of project managers, construction managers, construction inspectors and consultant program managers for the project management, liaison, inspection, and contract administration for the design, construction and modification of County buildings and structures.

Sufficient education, training, and experience to demonstrate the attainment of the knowledge and abilities listed below:
Experience Note: The knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the duties of this position would typically be acquired by training and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related field such as Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management
and
Three (3) years increasingly responsible experience as a construction manager or project manager for facilities construction projects including extensive experience in managing public sector facilities projects.
