Job summary

The chief nurse practitioner at Weill Cornell Medicine will oversee clinical, educational, and administrative management of the APP staff, with an independent outpatient schedule and collaboration with faculty to uphold standards of care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing required.
• Minimum 5 years NP experience preferred.
• NYS NP license and current NP registration required.
• Experience leading NP teams and quality initiatives preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct outpatient and/or inpatient NP care.
• Cares for complex patients within specialty per protocols.
• Develop and implement QA/QI initiatives.
• Train and orient NPs; educate on new equipment/features.
• Contribute to optimization of operational strategies.
• Contribute to improvements in workflows and patient care.
