The City of Atwater is seeking a Finance Director to plan, organize, direct and manage the City’s financial services, accounting, purchasing and budget preparation. The role serves as the primary fiscal advisor to the City Council and City Manager and oversees Grant administration and information systems.

Night and weekend meetings are required. Ideal candidates will have advanced education in finance or public administration, 5+ years in financial analysis with 3+ years in management or

Competenze

• Five years of professional financial analysis experience with three years in management or supervision in public finance.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration or public administration; advanced degree or CPA desirable.

• Administer grants, investments, and insurance programs; supervise and develop staff.
