Job summary

Main Line Health seeks an experienced SVP, Chief Medical Officer to lead medical staff and collaborate with the CEO. The CMO will oversee privileging, credentialing, peer review, and executive leadership for patient safety and quality of care across MLH service lines.

The role requires MD/DO and strong clinical background with 5+ years in healthcare performance improvement leadership, plus 3-5 years admin leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead medical staff functions including privileging and credentialing, and peer review.
• Provide executive leadership for patient safety and quality of care; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with MLH Administration and service lines to drive program growth.
• Oversee Graduate and Continuing Medical Education programs.
• Support payer contracting and IT implementations for clinical systems.
