Your Role as Chief Medical Officer

As CMO, you will serve as both a strategic leader and trusted clinical voice, partnering closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to shape the future of care delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

• Championing the alignment of physicians and advanced practice providers with the organization’s mission, vision, and values

• Leading clinical quality, patient safety, and performance improvement initiatives
• Driving evidence-based care standards and best practices across clinical departments
• Strengthening patient experience and HCAHPS outcomes
• Serving as a physician advisor for utilization management and case review
• Supporting medical staff leadership, committees, and physician governance
• Acting as a key liaison between providers, administration, the Board, and the community
• Mentoring physician leaders and fostering a culture of collegiality and engagement
• Partnering on physician recruitment and retention efforts
• Supporting regulatory compliance and accreditation standards
• Collaborating on population health strategies tailored to a rural community

This is a role for a physician who enjoys building consensus, leading change, and maintaining a strong connection to patient care.

Balanced Schedule

• 50% Administrative Leadership
