Job summary

XRHealth is seeking a Chief Medical Officer to lead clinical strategy, quality, and AI governance across our digital health platform. The role reports to the CEO and sits on the executive team, defining care pathways, evidence generation plans, and clinical standards for alignment with growth and payer requirements.

The CMO will translate clinical insight into product strategy, supervise a multi-state clinical network, and ensure regulatory compliance while advancing XRHealth’s external clinical

Qualifications

• MD/DO board-certified physician with active license.
• 10+ years of physician executive leadership experience, incl. CMO/Medical Director roles.
• Demonstrated track record in digital health, health technology, or virtual care.
• Strong collaboration with product and engineering teams; familiarity with AI in healthcare.
• Experience designing outcomes measurement and clinical/economic evidence for payers.
• Working knowledge of FDA, HIPAA, CMS, telehealth, and multi-state licensure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute XRHealth's clinical strategy across rehabilitation, chronic pain, and behavioral health.
• Lead clinical organization including licensed providers and clinical operations; build scalable supervision/credentialing.
• Serve as executive team member shaping strategy, product roadmap, and investment decisions from a clinical view.
• Provide clinical sign-off on product releases, protocols, and therapeutic programs.
• Lead clinical due diligence on acquisitions and integration of new programs.
