About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for its Community Plan. As the CMO, you will lead efforts to drive clinical excellence while adhering to state regulatory requirements and addressing community health priorities. Collaborating closely with local health plan leaders and enterprise clinical operations, you will oversee quality improvement initiatives, manage inpatient and outpatient utilization, and drive affordability and growth.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Fostering partnerships with local healthcare systems and providers
  • Focusing on quality and affordability in healthcare delivery
  • Leading clinical programs for individuals with complex social, medical, and behavioral health needs
  • Representing the organization to state regulators

The ideal candidate will be a Louisiana-licensed physician, Board Certified, with at least 5 years of clinical experience. A robust background in quality management, health equity initiatives, and the managed care industry is essential. Familiarity with the LTSS population and current medical practices is crucial.

  • Data analysis and strategic thinking capabilities

We are looking for a creative problem-solver who excels in teamwork and relationship building with network and community physicians. A background with the Louisiana Department of Health and Welfare and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish are preferred but not mandatory.
