Chief Medical Officer / Medical Director – Regenerative Biologics

Location: Remote/hybrid (USA) | Travel: As required

A high-growth, mission-driven biologics company is seeking a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) or Senior Medical Director to lead clinical strategy and medical oversight across its expanding portfolio in orthopedic, spine, wound care and ocular biologics.

This role will serve as the company’s clinical voice—shaping evidence-generation strategy, driving KOL engagement, supporting reimbursement pathways, and collaborating cross-functionally to advance product adoption and clinical credibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead clinical strategy and evidence generation across product lines
• Partner with R&D, commercial, and executive teams to inform product positioning
• Support publication planning, medical education, and clinical protocol development
• Engage with key opinion leaders and advisory boards
• Provide medical insight on regulatory, reimbursement, and product lifecycle decisions
• Represent the company at conferences and industry events

What We’re Looking For

• MD, DO, or equivalent clinical degree (Board certification preferred)
• 5–10+ years of experience in medical affairs, clinical strategy, or industry-facing clinical roles
• Background in orthobiologics, regenerative medicine, spine, wound care, or related fields
• Experience with clinical research, real-world data, or evidence generation
• Strong communicator with the ability to influence cross-functionally and externally
• Passion for innovation and improving patient outcomes through biologics
