About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to provide strategic and operational leadership for all clinical services. The CMO will be a key member of the executive team, working closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to develop and implement clinical strategies that align with the organization's objectives. This role involves overseeing clinical quality, establishing and implementing clinical protocols and policies, and supervising licensed clinical providers. The CMO will also be responsible for the Continuous Quality Improvement program, serving on the Risk Management Team, and ensuring compliance with all relevant guidelines and expectations. Candidates for the CMO position at the company must be licensed to practice medicine in California as a Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy. The role requires a professional with a strong background in clinical leadership, including experience in clinical supervision, credentialing, and privileging. The CMO will be expected to actively participate in various team and board meetings, and to serve as a clinical spokesperson for the organization. Bilingual Spanish is a plus. The successful candidate will be dedicated to the mission, vision, and values of the organization, and will be responsible for recruiting and incorporating medical staff in line with these principles.
