Job summary
Siemens Mobility CS seeks a senior leader to own the enterprise Materials & Logistics strategy across 40+ sites. You will drive availability, working capital discipline, and containerized efficiency while partnering with Purchasing, Finance, and Field Service Operations.
Lead a high-performing team, advance digital tools like ERP/MRP, SAP, and Power BI, and sustain growth through proven logistics excellence and risk management.
Qualifications
- Proven success leading large-scale materials and logistics operations in capital equipment or project environments.
- Experience developing and implementing enterprise-level supply chain strategies.
- Strong ERP/MRP and data-driven performance management experience.
- Deep SAP experience in materials, logistics, or planning environments; rail/transportation knowledge a plus.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement a multi-year Materials & Logistics strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead enterprise governance for materials management across projects and sites.
- Interface with customers as the senior materials and logistics executive at the executive level.
- Own inventory availability, forecasting, obsolescence, and cycle count governance across 40+ sites.
- Drive digital transformation, standardize ERP/MRP processes, and enable data-based decisions.
