Siemens Mobility seeks a senior leader to own enterprise-wide Materials & Logistics strategy for 40+ sites. You will drive availability, working capital efficiency, and resilience across all projects and contracts. This role demands an executive mindset to govern outcomes and partner across functions.

You will lead a multi‑layer organization, promote continuous improvement, and advance digital tools like ERP, MRP, Power BI, and analytics to optimize performance and data‑driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience leading large-scale materials and logistics operations in capital equipment or project-based environments.
• Experience developing enterprise-level strategies for materials and supply chain operations.
• Strong expertise in ERP and MRP systems and data-driven performance management.
• Experience leading through complexity, scale, and organizational growth.
• Deep SAP experience in materials, logistics, or planning environments; rail/transport domain a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define, own, and implement a multi-year Materials & Logistics strategy aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
• Establish enterprise standards, governance, and operating models for materials management across projects and locations.
• Act as the senior materials authority within SCM and provide strategic input to executives.
• Drive materials availability >99% while maintaining healthy inventory turns.
• Ensure resilient, cost-effective logistics and material supply models for work orders.
• Lead root-cause resolution for material shortages and systemic failures.
• Oversee inventory accuracy, demand forecasting, obsolescence, and cycle counts across 40+ sites.
• Lead multi-layer leadership team and foster a high-performance, safety-focused culture.
• Drive digitalization with KPI framework, automation, and analytics for decision making.
