We're looking for a nearshore Chief Java Full Stack Engineer with deep Commerce expertise to help drive an AI-powered/Agentic Checkout project.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services covering payment, loyalty, promotions, and other commerce domain areas
• Support AI-powered checkout experiences through appropriate validation and safeguard mechanisms
• Guarantee that commerce systems remain scalable, reliable, and compliant

Requirements

• 7+ years building backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Hands-on production experience building Front-End components with React.JS
• Strong skills in developing REST APIs and microservices
• Familiarity with AI-assisted or agent-based workflows and their backend integration
• Real-world production experience using Claude Code
• Experience working with GCP and/or Azure cloud platforms
• Openness to learning and adapting to emerging tools, patterns, and technologies
• English language skills at a B2 level or above
• Nice to have CCA-F certification
