As a Chief Investment Office ALM Portfolio Management (IC) Managing Director within PNC's Asset & Liability Management organization, you will be based in New York City. This position is primarily located in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at manager's discretion.
PNC’s bank portfolio (ALM investments) team is searching for a Portfolio Manager in Agency Mortgage-Backed Securities sector. The ALM team manages 150+bn in assets and Agency Mortgage-Backed Security forms a large part of the investment mandate and portfolio. At PNC ALM, we aim to maximize long-term profitability and optimize risk-adjusted returns, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and aligning investments with the institution's balance sheet objectives. We are seeking a candidate who can develop robust investment processes and tailor to the specific needs of PNC ALM.
The candidate will bring a deep background in Agency Mortgage-Backed Securities, be able to excel in a team environment and take part in investment decision-making and implementation. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work directly with other senior portfolio managers and PNC’s CIO and be a key contributor to a team which manages a broad portfolio of fixed income assets and derivative products.

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, or PhD is desirable. Industry experience is typically 8 + years. Specific certifications are often required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Base Salary: $130,000.00 – $313,950.00. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
Generally, this opening is expected to be posted for two business days from 03/12/2025, although it may be longer with business discretion.
