About the Role
We are on the hunt for an experienced and meticulous Chief Inspector to lead the charge in our quality and inspection departments. Reporting directly to the President, you will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, maintaining top-tier safety and quality standards, and driving operational excellence. Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with CFR Part 65 certification requirements for repair station operations.
  • Lead quality control and inspection operations, upholding the highest standards of excellence.
  • Oversee the maintenance department’s adherence to quality standards and procedures.
  • Manage and update company manuals and documentation to reflect best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise inspections under the PTL certificate, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Implement and enhance electronic recordkeeping systems for streamlined operations.
  • Verify tools and equipment—including personal technician tools—are properly calibrated and maintained.
  • Review and approve maintenance records for precision and completeness before final return-to-service.
  • Maintain meticulous calibration records, meeting company standards and procedures.
  • Qualify, approve, and document maintenance contractors.
  • Develop and oversee initial and recurrent training programs for maintenance personnel, ensuring they’re equipped to excel.
  • Conduct internal quality audits, address deficiencies, and oversee corrective actions.
  • Train, supervise, and mentor personnel operating under the PTL certificate.
  • Stay proficient in the latest inspection methods, techniques, and equipment.
  • Review and approve AMOC requests, ensuring FAA Form 337 compliance.

  • Minimum Requirement: FAA Airframe Mechanic Certificate
