First Financial Bank seeks an executive leader to establish and drive the enterprise information security program, governance, and risk management. The CISO will oversee IAM, emerging technology governance, and compensation of cyber risk across the organization.

The role requires extensive banking/risk experience, executive communication with boards, and leadership of security awareness initiatives. On-site leadership at the Abilene, TX location is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, risk management, or related discipline.
• ,An advanced degree is preferred.
• Professional certification in information security/risk domains is required or must be obtained within a defined period.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Company’s Information Security Program.
• Lead enterprise cybersecurity strategy and planning aligned with objectives and regulatory expectations.
• Oversee IAM governance, access provisioning, reviews, and privileged access management.
• Provide guidance on AI governance, privacy, and risk management for emerging technologies.
• Prepare risk-based reports for executive management and Boards.
• Manage third-party and vendor security oversight and incident response coordination.
• Lead security awareness and training programs across the organization.
• Budget and resource planning for the information security function.
