Position Overview

The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) will be a strategic and operational leader responsible for establishing and maintaining a comprehensive enterprise-wide information security program. Reporting to the CIO, the CISO will safeguard Wilsonart’s digital assets, systems, and data by developing cybersecurity strategies, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and managing risks across our global technology footprint. The ideal candidate will have proven success in building security architectures and promoting a culture of security awareness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee cybersecurity governance, architecture, operations, and incident response across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures enterprise-wide.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and cybersecurity laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and industry frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Manage vulnerability assessments, threat intelligence, and Security Operations Center (SOC) performance to proactively mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with IT, Legal, HR, and other stakeholders to align security initiatives with enterprise risk management.
  • Lead response to security incidents, including investigation, remediation, communication, and post-incident analysis.
  • Provide regular reports to the CIO and executive leadership on security posture, risks, and mitigation efforts.
  • Promote security awareness and training programs to enhance employee vigilance and reduce risks.

  • 15+ years in information security, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise cybersecurity programs.
  • Expertise in threat intelligence, vulnerability management, incident response, and security architecture.
  • Experience with global compliance, audits, and third-party risk management.
  • Background in securing cloud-native platforms, OT/IoT systems, and enterprise applications.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent.
  • Strong executive presence and influencing skills across organizational levels.
