We are seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to provide executive leadership and strategic direction in information technology (IT) at the SingHealth institution. The role involves aligning IT initiatives with SingHealth’s Digitalisation Strategy, Ministry of Health, and Synapxe Health IT master plan. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership, strong relationship-building skills, and strategic thinking with innovative problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead system implementations and IT operational improvements at both the institution and SingHealth levels.
  • Ensure seamless delivery of IT solutions supporting hospital operations.
  • Translate business objectives into effective IT strategies and plans.
  • Maintain system integrity and ensure timely service delivery.
  • Oversee IT budget, procurement, and transfer pricing.
  • Manage vendor relationships for cost-effective and efficient solutions.
  • Collaborate with Synapxe, the national IT shared service provider, for oversight and governance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 15 years of IT management experience in healthcare, including at least 10 years in leadership roles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Experience in a highly matrixed organization with effective teamwork capabilities.
