Chief Information Officer (CIO)
The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is a strategic and operational executive responsible for leading the organization’s enterprise-wide information technology strategy, cybersecurity, infrastructure, business systems, data and digital operations. The CIO ensures technology is aligned with organizational strategy and effectively supports business operations, mission delivery, growth, innovation, and long-term sustainability.
The CIO serves as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Senior Leadership Team, translating business priorities into technology strategies and solutions that improve operational efficiency, enhance the employee and customer experience, strengthen security, and enable data-driven decision-making.

This role will lead the integration and ongoing technology strategy for newly acquired business lines, including TCI, ensuring systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technology practices are effectively integrated while maintaining operational continuity. In addition , this role is responsible for the oversight and leadership of our Facilities & Operations Management.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in information technology, with significant experience in IT leadership.
Demonstrated experience developing and executing enterprise-wide technology strategies.
Proven experience leading and developing teams in a multi-site, multi-functional organization.
Demonstrated experience with cybersecurity, IT governance, risk management, data protection, and regulatory compliance.
Experience leading technology implementations, digital transformation, systems integration, and organizational change.
Experience managing IT budgets, capital investments, vendor relationships, contracts, and managed service providers.
Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or integration of new business operations preferred.
Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, cloud technologies, networks, business applications, cybersecurity, data management, and disaster recovery.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, project management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technology issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration
Relevant IT certifications are preferred.
Cybersecurity, information security, project management, or cloud certifications are a plus.

Establish and oversee an enterprise cybersecurity strategy designed to protect organizational data, systems, networks, employees, customers, and other stakeholders.
Develop and maintain appropriate security policies, procedures, controls, and incident response protocols.
Conduct regular cybersecurity and technology risk assessments and establish mitigation strategies.
Ensure appropriate compliance with applicable regulatory, contractual, privacy, and industry requirements, including HIPAA, PCI, SOC, and other standards as applicable.
Oversee cybersecurity awareness and training programs for employees.
Monitor emerging cybersecurity threats and ensure the organization maintains appropriate defenses and response capabilities.
Lead the organization’s response to significant cybersecurity incidents and technology-related risks.
Provide strategic oversight of enterprise business applications and systems that support HR, finance, retail, donation operations, mission programs, facilities, aftermarket, and other organizational functions.
Ensure technology systems effectively communicate and integrate across departments and business units.
Establish a data and technology strategy that supports accurate reporting, analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities to leverage technology, automation, artificial intelligence, analytics, and digital tools to improve organizational performance.
Establish appropriate standards for data integrity, accessibility, security, retention, and governance.
Lead evaluation and implementation of new technology platforms and enterprise systems.
Provide executive oversight of technology integration for TCI and future acquisitions or business expansions.
Develop and execute technology integration plans that address infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, connectivity, data, applications, and user support.
Ensure technology integration minimizes disruption to business operations while establishing alignment with enterprise IT standards.
Serve as the primary technology liaison for TCI leadership and other newly acquired or affiliated business operations.
Evaluate unique technology requirements and determine appropriate solutions in partnership with operational leadership.
Establish post-integration technology plans to ensure long-term sustainability, security, and scalability.
Partner with Risk Management and organizational leadership to identify, assess, and mitigate technology-related risks.
Maintain comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plans for critical technology systems.
Conduct periodic testing of recovery procedures and address identified gaps.
